Directions to Commonly Used Hidden Mountain Sites

Tear Sea's Shore Monthly Meeting

Date: Every month on the third Sunday. unless otherwise stated
Time: 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Location: C&B Benchmark Station, Hwy 78
Notes: The Tear Sea's Shore meeting will be at C&B Fire Dept's Benchmark Station on Hwy 78 across from the fairgrounds.

Directions:
From I-26, take Exit 203 College Park Road. You are going to follow the signage towards the Coastal Carolina Fairgrounds until you get to Hwy 78. ((There will be a Burger King on one corner, and a Taco Bell opposite))

Right turn onto 78, and you will see the Station about half a mile down on your Left. Park out front, and I will have a Bay door open so folks can get in.

Fighter Practice

Date: Every Sunday
Time: 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Location: Gahagan Park, Summerville

Directions:

Take 17 (or 78) towards Summerville to Berlin G. Meyers Road. ((On 17 this will be the first TRUE intersection after the Expressway that isn't leading to shopping areas. On 78, you'll see a very large empty shopping plaza on the left))

Turn LEFT (EAST) Onto Berlin G. Meyers. Take Berlin G. Meyers to Gahagan Street. ((You will see construction on that intersection, they are working on the bridge on Gahagan))

Turn LEFT (NORTH) Onto Gahagan. Take Gahagan for about 3/4 of a mile until you see a sign on your left that says "GAHAGAN/BOUNDARY STREET BALLFIELDS" This will be Garbon Drive.

Turn LEFT onto Garbon. When Garbon ENDS, you will be at Boundary Street.

Turn LEFT onto Boundary. Follow Boundary up til you see a large wooden sign that says "GAHAGAN PARK" on the LEFT.

Pull in, find a parking spot, and I will not be hard to find. The playscape will also be there on your right, with the bathrooms directly behind it.

Directions: Take your best route to I-26 west of Charleston, SC. Take exit #177 (route 453) towards Harleyville. Follow this road til it ends in a T intersection. Turn left onto Highway 178 towards downtown Harleyville. At the flashing yellow light, turn Right onto Railroad Ave. The site is about 2 blocks down on the left. Signs will be posted.
